Abstract
Recently, amidst the rise of Open AIʼs ChatGPT, we critically consider the vision of education in the AI era presented by the government and suggest alternatives. This position paper aims to present and persuade researchers on controversial issues. In this paper, we discusses the issue in the following order. First, the vision of AI education presented by the government was analyzed based on the report published by the government. Next, we criticize the problems of the vision of AI education presented by the government from a constructivist perspective, and present an alternative vision for AI education.
The arguments made through this study are summarized as follows. 1) Customized education using AI is a way to reinforce the entrance exam- oriented, injection-type education. 2) The image of talent that we want to achieve through AI education is possible when AI is used as a cognitive tool. |
