Abstract
This paper analyzes the characteristics and problems of the knowledge produced in the process of change, as the platform for production and consumption of knowledge, which is commonly used as data, information, and knowledge in modern society, is changing. The characteristics of knowledge produced in modern society were analyzed in terms of digitization of knowledge structure, online accessibility, recombination or convergence of knowledge, deauthorization of knowledge, and collective intelligence of the general public. And the knowledge production process and the characteristics of the production subject were explained through a platform called YouTube. Therefore, the problems of knowledge production mainly with visual images, the combination of exposure and voyeurism, the weakening of the authority of experts, the commercialization of information, and the ethical problems of information selection criteria are presented. In modern society, the ethical role required of platforms for knowledge production and consumption goes beyond ethical deliberation on codes or contents. In addition, ethical considerations and social consensus on the mechanism of knowledge production and consumption, which this platform explicitly or implicitly requires, must be requested. |
