the “ICAIH 2022: The 5th International Conference on AI Humanities”

Greetings,

We, the Humanities Research Institute at Chung-Ang University, host <ICAIH 2022 – The Impact of AI on Humans and Society>.
Following our virtual conferences last two years, we committed to bringing scholars of humanities and artificial intelligence
into an in-person conference at Chung-Ang University, South Korea.

This year, we hold the fifth ICAIH with the theme “Artificial Intelligence: A Conversation with Kant” to celebrate the publication
of Kant and Artificial Intelligence. The book’s authors will provide a picture of how Kant would think of artificial intelligence.
We also host a pre-conference, “Media Discourse on AI: A Journalist’s Perspective”, to explore the regional history of AI discourse
in the Korean news media and prepare our ways forward.

We hope that the conference brings many insights from diverse disciplines to collaboratively discuss
the future of humanities in the age of artificial intelligence and successfully establish “Artificial Intelligence Humanities” as an academic field.
